In the course of our experiences throughout our various projects, our team has built the necessary expertise to fully understand the specific problems businesses have to deal with and to accordingly propose new optimized business processes and an implementation strategy.

The solution’s technical architecture

PIREL evaluates equipment, network and software requirements. This step also includes the preparation of a business recovery plan (BPR) and a disaster recovery plan (DRP).

 

The goal of ECM related technologies is to minimize operational costs, all while maximizing the value of your organization’s information.

When correctly planned and integrated, these technologies minimize document processing costs and increase the informational worth of the electronic documents that are processed, all while eliminating waste.

 

Customization and programming

 

Once the architecture for the solution is approved by the customer, PIREL experts will configure the software so that it meets the needs that are specific to the customer. For example, it is possible to define the indexes of a document, the business workflow, security and user rights, the structure of the menus, the structure of the Oracle database, etc.

In certain cases, it may be required to « create a bridge » between PIREL’s solution and the customer’s existing business systems. Our programming team develops such connections. Generally, the customer does not have to change their existing applications before implementing PIREL software.

 

Easy customization is a key criteria when evaluating and choosing an ECM solution. The product should be easily adapted to meet specific business requirements and user needs. One of PIREL’s biggest strength is the suppleness and flexibility of our solutions. Customization is done in an intuitive and timely manner and mostly, at a reasonable cost.

The previous steps are followed by a series of tests to validate that the solution delivered is completely operational and in accordance with customer specifications.

 

Installation

 

Finally, the solution is installed on operational workstations or on PIREL equipment if the hosting option has been chosen. New tests are done to validate that all the components and all links with the customer applications work as planned.
 

PIREL offers training for the customer’s personnel, users and technical staff. This training can be given entirely by PIREL or according to a "train the trainer" method.

A distinguishing element of our service is that we assign a resource to each customer. This person is responsible of following up on all service calls.
